Which one sounds like your child?

  • Colic

She cries for hours every evening and nothing settles her.

  • Gas and straining

He pulls his legs up and strains. He's so uncomfortable.

  • Early eczema

Red, dry patches on her cheeks and in her skin folds.

  • C-section or antibiotics

I want to support his gut from the very start.

What changes in 3 months

From guessing to knowing what to do next

Before

"I know something is off, but I don't know what to try next."

  • Late nights searching and getting mixed advice
  • Trying probiotics and food changes with no idea if they help
  • Being told it's just a phase

After

"I understand what is going on, I have a plan, and I'm not doing this alone."

  • You know what the gut needs and why
  • A simple plan that fits your real routine
  • Monthly support, plus a second test to see the change

What parents say

I really appreciate Mona taking the time to go through my son's result. It was helpful to know what we can do for him, and what I can eat as I am breastfeeding exclusively.
Breastfeeding mom
Mona assured me that the steps I have taken to help my child are what I should be trying. She also gave me more things to try and a timeline for using them.
Parent of a child with eczema
Mona was warm and friendly. She focused on foods before supplements and gave me specific ideas and recipes. I felt both educated and empowered. Excellent experience!
Parent of a picky eater
I've noticed my skin improving, and my overall energy being higher due to the food I'm eating.

Hi, I'm Mona.

I'm a Microbiome Specialist, functional nutritionist and former biomedical scientist. I have helped more than 1,500 parents understand gut test results for babies, toddlers and kids.

I know how hard it is when something is wrong and nobody gives you clear answers. I lived with my own symptoms for 13 years before doctors took them seriously. So I listen, I explain things simply, and I give you a plan you can follow at home.

Parents often come back to tell me the constipation has resolved, or that eczema is no longer a worry.

How it works

Your 3 months, step by step

  1. Week 1

    Get to know your child

We talk through history and symptoms. You do the first gut test at home.

  2. Weeks 4–6

    Understand the results

I explain what the test shows and give you a clear, simple plan.

  3. Months 1–3

    Monthly support

We meet every month, work through what is hard, and adjust as your child grows.

  4. Month 3+

    Retest and review

A second test shows what changed, and we plan next steps together.

Why start with the gut

The gut does much more than digest food.

  • It grows fast

The gut microbiome changes quickly in the first years of life, shaped by birth, feeding and first foods.1

  • It trains the immune system

Gut microbes help teach the immune system how to respond in early life.2

  • Antibiotics can change it

Children who had repeated antibiotics had a less diverse, less stable gut microbiome.3

83%lower odds of eczema

Randomized controlled trial, 2025

C-section babies who had personalized gut testing and support for 6 months had 83% lower odds of eczema than babies who didn't.4

Questions parents ask me

Can you test a newborn or a baby?

Yes. Babies up to age 3 use Tiny Health's Baby Gut Health Test, and children 3 to 18 use the Child Gut Health Test. You collect a small sample at home in a few minutes and mail it in.

Can this help with eczema?

Eczema is complex, and the gut is one important piece of it. A 2026 study found that children with eczema or food allergies show different gut patterns, starting from 6 to 12 months of age.5 The test results show us which patterns to work on through food, feeding and daily habits.

What about food allergies or colic?

Children with food allergies often show gut differences too.5 We look at the gut and build food and feeding habits that support it.

For colic, we look at feeding and the gut, and use options backed by research. In four double-blind trials, one probiotic strain, L. reuteri DSM 17938, reduced crying time in breastfed babies with colic.6

How much does it cost?

The price includes both gut tests, all your sessions and your plan. Test prices can change, so I share the current price on your free call. There is no pressure to decide on the spot.

Do we have to use supplements?

No. Food and feeding come first. I only suggest supplements when they are right for the age and needs of your child.
