My Story

With two Master of Science degrees, specializing in Cancers and Biomedical Research Technologies, and over 7 years in the laboratory working in Biotech and Biopharmaceutical companies as a Scientist in Cell and Gene therapy. Yet, beneath my professional success lurked a hidden battle.

From the age of fifteen, was diagnosed with PCOS, the severity of my symptoms has been underestimated by doctors in the Europe and USA for decades. Only after a few trips to the ER, doctors eventually predicted a potential risk of Endometriosis after 13 years of living with pain. With the outlook of more surgeries and lifelong medication.

Then I decided to take control of my body into my own hands. I got certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) through NTA, and channeled my scientific curiosity from years in the lab into finding healing for PCOS and endometriosis through a nutritional therapy approach. After many years of suffering, I got back the control of my life and have been pain-free since then.

Today, I help others navigate their PCOS and endometriosis journeys efficiently, offering tailored strategies to reclaim their vitality and well-being.

Are you ready to put an end to the pain and transform your life? Let’s work together.

I reached out to Mona for assistance in alleviating my general GI symptoms. She deepened my understanding of my digestive system and provided effective strategies to enhance my nutritional intake. It’s refreshing to finally find a nutritional coach who listens, guides at every step, and considers the individual’s habits when suggesting impactful lifestyle changes! I’d definitely continue consulting Mona whenever I have health and nutrition-based concerns.

I wholeheartedly endorse the health coaching experience as a transformative journey that has significantly improved my lifestyle. The guidance provided by my coach has empowered me to make informed choices, adopt healthier habits, achieve a sustainable approach to well-being, and ultimately balance my hormones. Mona is an extremely nice person with a great science-based program that can really help you navigate health issues. I have PCOS and it was very important to have someone to teach me how to be more aware of my body and also how to do little changes everyday which would make a huge difference in daily life. It helped me understand my potential and also my weaknesses and strengths. I changed the way I see stress and I pay more attention to my body. It was helpful to learn so much from a well based scientific view.I believe for those that seek a different approach to health in a holistic way – and backed by science – this is a great opportunity.

Luisa L

I have been struggling with endometriosis for years and even underwent surgery, but I never fully recovered. When I consulted with Mona about a program that could help reduce the adverse effects of endometriosis by reducing inflammation, she guided me through the process of gaining a better understanding of my body, the foods I consume, and their effects on my body and disease. In the first phase of this process, following Mona’s guidance, I experienced weight loss and felt better both physically and mentally. I’m very happy to have taken this step in the process, and I’m confident that from now on, I will have a new lifestyle.

Samira Z

I have experienced many changes in myself during this period, including becoming more energetic, feeling lighter, and my overall energy level has significantly increased. On the other hand, I am having more regular periods, and with the guidance I received, my digestion has improved immensely. My body’s inflammation is decreasing, and following that, my size and weight are reducing. Truly, the guidance and suggestions have brought me such a good feeling that it’s indescribable.

Experiencing Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) or endometriosis might initially bring challenges into our lives, but I personally have realized that if you have a coach or guide like Mona by your side, its impact can definitely be significantly reduced. Mona, with her expertise in this field and her personal experiences, truly understands the situation from within and has provided me with excellent and unique solutions that are gradually changing my lifestyle. Although I still have a long way to go, I am taking it step by step with Mona, but without a doubt, I recommend everyone to experience this coaching and change their inner and outer selves. Thank you, dear Mona.

What is Endometriosis?

Endometriosis is a painful disorder where tissue similar to the uterus lining grows outside the uterus, causing inflammation, pain, and other symptoms.

This tissue acts like it would inside the uterus, thickening, breaking down, and bleeding during each menstrual cycle. However, since it’s outside the uterus, it becomes trapped, leading to cysts, irritation of surrounding tissue, and the formation of scar tissue and adhesions.

It may spread to the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, bowel, diaphragm, bladder, or anywhere inside the abdominal cavity.

The exact cause of endometriosis is not fully understood, but a few factors may increase the risk, like family history and retrograde menstruation (when monthly discharge flows backward into the fallopian tubes).

While pelvic pain can point to endometriosis, yet the definitive diagnosis typically requires performing a laparoscopic surgical procedure.

Endometriosis can cause severe pain, especially during periods, and common symptoms include painful periods, pain during intercourse, and issues with bowel movements or urination.

Diagnosis currently requires laparoscopic surgery, which can be expensive and may not detect all lesions.

FAQ

Certainly, embracing a well-rounded diet, staying active, stress management and maintaining healthy lifestyle habits can aid in controlling PCOS symptoms by increasing hormonal balance and insulin sensitivity.

PCOS can effect fertility due to irregular ovulation. However, lots of women with PCOS become pregnant by making lifestyle adjustments, taking supplements or undergoing fertility treatments.

While diet and lifestyle changes may not cure endometriosis, they help ease symptoms. The aim of the “Inflammation Reset Challenge” goal is to reduce inflammation, bloating and pain.

For managing PCOS and Endometriosis, lifestyle changes play a crucial role. Having a balanced diet with a focus on whole foods, regular exercise, stress management through techniques like yoga or meditation, ensuring adequate sleep, and moderating caffeine and alcohol intake can contribute to symptom alleviation.

Both conditions can impact mental health, increasing stress, anxiety, or depression. The symptoms of the illness can impact both personal relationships and professional life.
